12 Days Before Christmas 2026

12 Days Before Christmas is an annual project hosted by Removing The Stigma (RTS) since 2022. The theme is taken from the all-time Christmas poem and song, “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

Each year a local school is selected. The principal or school counselor of the selected school chooses up to 12 students they believe could benefit from the project. Those students with the greatest need, financially and emotionally. Once the students are selected Removing The Stigma staff and volunteers shop personally for each child.  Over the past two years students have received coats, hats, gloves, boots, and toys.  In 2023- an additional toy project was added.  Each student had a chance to pick toys from a wagon full of toys, along with the ones they received wrapped. The wagon experience brought such joy to the children, RTS plans to embark on the same Christmas Wagon experience each year.  Removing The Stigma, volunteers and staff deliver gifts to each student at the local school, 12 days before Christmas, and beyond until the beginning of the next year's school day.
