12 Days to Christmas School Give Away
The Joy of Giving and Receiving

12 Days Before Christmas is an annual project hosted by Removing The Stigma since 2022. The theme is taken from the all-time Christmas poem and song, “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” in the lyrics, each day represents a new gift, starting with a partridge in a pear tree’ and ending with ‘twelve drummers drumming’.

Each year a local school is selected. The principal or school counselor of the selected school choses up to 12 students they believe could benefit from the project. Removing The Stigma volunteers and staff deliver gifts to each student at the local school, 12 days before Christmas.

Removing The Stigma Staff and volunteers from Mighty Women of Valor Small Group from New Community Bible Fellowship Church Make Cleveland Better project, spent evening hours, chatting, and enjoying a evening of wrapping and bagging the Christmas gifts for the children at the Removing The Stigma office.

The Joy of Receiving

Thank you twelve days to donors!

Your monetary and in-kind donations blessed 5 girls, and 6 boys in 2023. The children grades K through 8 received top of the line coats, hats, and gloves. Each child received a personalized bracelet with their names, hand-crafted by an volunteer from New Community Bible Fellowship Mighty Women of Valor. Each child received the traditional Connect 4 game, the younger girls received dolls, and the other girls received cosmetic gifts. The volunteers brought in a wagon filled with all sorts of toys, and the children picked out a toy of their choice. This was an exciting day for these children. They left overwhelmed with gratitude, and appreciation for the gifts.
